After graduation for Grey College in Bloemfontein, Dr de Wet pursued a career in the medical industry for 6 years before he realised his true passion-CHIROPRACTIC!
After graduation from the Technikon Witwatersrand (now University of Johannesburg) in 2003, he commenced private practice in the Boskruin area, where he practiced for 10 years.
During May 2013 he moved to their new home “ Randpark Ridge Family Chiropractic Clinic”
at 116 Kayburne Ave Randpark Ridge where he is still in practice.
Dr de Wet was the chairman of the local branch of the Chiropractic Association for South Africa, for a number of years and also served on the executive council of the Chiropractic Association from 2007-2011, and was the vice president of the association in 2009.
He now serves as a member of the Professional Board of Chiropractic and Osteopath of the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa (AHPCSA).
Dr de Wet is married to Siobhan Wilcox and has two children, Liam and Sinead
